From roughly 2017 to 2023, I played mostly games from the previous two decades, and dumped my live observations into twitter threads. These were often simple stream-of-consciousness impressions, like a sort of text-based Let's Play, intended to be fairly ephemeral. However, some became serious deep dives into technical art, VFX, and game design, and some became essays where I tried to bring attention to the artistry within commercially-unsuccessful "bad" games
