I guess I just thought with like... remember when the first one came out and polygon turned into Daily Posts About Destiny Dot Com for like a literal year? and now Anthem exists specifically because of it?

I sorta thought all that stuff meant that it represented a bigger paradigm shift in AAA multiplayer design than "bungie made a very good borderlands"
