Had 5 days free due to holiday+weekend, spent the whole time on a ridiculous Aerobat feature, discovered yesterday evening that the whole thing won't work due to dumb technical limitations

I'm afraid this leaves me no choice but to Watch Anime

Started Gosick bc it looked interesting six years ago and ppl still occasionally mention it

thus far it's adorable and also full of murders lol

There's an awful lot of awful anime but I'm usually willing to give anything from Bones a shot. Watched FMA as an impressionable youth, Eureka Seven's still my favoritest thing ever, and Space Dandy is basically perfect

This isn't even set in Japan and the protagonist still sits at The Protagonist Desk

Also the setting implies that everyone is supposedly speaking French but the voice acting's all in Japanese for obvious reasons but then I don't know Japanese so I'm watching it with English subtitles lol

people are just *constantly* getting murdered in front of the protagonist

detective serials are the best

Dude goes out to get groceries and randomly sees somebody get their head sliced off and then finds the corpse of aNOTHER unrelated murder ten minutes later in the same episode

like at this point it's probably safest to just stay in bed and wait for Buffy to show up

This dude has the Bonesest face I've ever seen

They've spent two episodes setting up the backstory for one really really complicated murder but then while they're investigating this murder anoTHER MURDER HAPPENED

This is a murder-mystery detective show in which the writers' idea of a red herring is to literally add *more murders* that turn out to be completely unrelated to the one being investigated
