man the later games really did a number on her design huh

I dunno I have a weird relationship with the halo games bc I played the CE campaign like a hundred times, and then 2-4 once each under weird circumstances so I only barely remember them

so like where everybody else has memories tied to multiplayer in 2/3 I'm just over here like "hello I spent 30+ hours just sequence-breaking Assault on the Control Room for fun and that is my relationship to halo"

I will say it's extremely funny that they clearly put the old/new comparison button in to be like "BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE XBOX 360; SEE HOW FAR WE'VE COME" but all it actually does in practice is point out minor details that they messed up lol

like if they hadn't given me a button to do direct 1:1 comparisons I'd just be like "huh, this feels different from how I remember it" and moved on, but instead they've inflicted this twitter thread upon us all
