there are NPCs everywhere and all of them have voiced dialogue and I can't understand any of it because it's all chinese

if you shoot an NPC they turn into a ragdoll but you can still talk to them lmao

I REALLY wish I could understand the intended tone of all this. It's def intentionally comedic but I can't tell if it's like, Goat Simulator wacky or Undertale weird cute gentle absurdism

I suspect the latter? There's TONS of text and dialogue though so whatever's going on, I'm missing most of it

Okay I managed to sneak around the back and get into the bicycle building and it's full of dudes with guns and a bunch of people in prison cells??

I must stress that I've covered and absolutely MINUSCULE fraction of the map; and everywhere I can see has a ton of interesting/weird stuff in it

even in an obviously WIP/early access state this game is apparently MASSIVE

Okay so if you die you lose all your money, which is worrisome because the only way to obtain money is by finding literal mario coins scattered around the world

it appears there's a finite quantity of money in the game, which doesn't respawn and can be permanently lost?

this is... a whole-ass action RPG? There's like shops and equipment and XP and levels and quests

ah man that's a bit disappointing
